Billy Faught is a project manager with Robertson Commercial Pools. He is a long time resident of Coppell.

Q: What was the biggest challenge/problem you were facing before joining the Get You In Shape Program?
Consistently getting weight training and cardio. I was eating well, and losing weight…..but I had little or no accountability for workouts.

Q: Why did you end up deciding to join the Get You In Shape program?
Under extreme duress… was Bring a Friend and Amanda Glassey and Beth Faught (my daughter-in-Law) had an answer for “it costs too much”. After a month, I was in for 3 months….then “All In”….

Q: Walk us through your journey. What results and benefits have you experienced in the Get You In Shape Program?
Physically, I’m stronger and leaner than I’ve ever been. I finally have a core that will “engage”. Socially, I am surrounded by very supportive folks of all fitness levels that are making themselves, and me, better. My involvement has completely changed the way I live.

Q: Why did you decide to give your time and become part of the Get You In Shape Team?
I had coached kids’ sports before and enjoyed it. This looked like a fun way to engage with the clients and learn something about how our bodies work. I soon realized that I was “getting much more than I was giving”… is very inspirational to train our clients. They come from all walks of life and fitness levels but they all have one goal….to be better. Now that I’ve trained for over a year, I really like seeing the transformation of many of my first “newbies” that are still engaged and doing great things for themselves and others.

Q: What strengths/special gifts do you feel help you as a trainer with Get You In Shape?
I have a pretty high level of energy and enthusiasm which I hope fuels the clients. I try to make the workouts fun and engage with everyone on a personal level.

Q: What are some of the benefits that you have received by being a trainer on the Get You In Shape Team?
This may sound trite….but I really feel the love. GYIS clients have developed a sense of community at workouts that has carried over into their personal lives. We have groups who had nothing in common before that now get together socially and even travel together.

Q: What would you say to anyone looking to join this program?
It is the best thing I’ve ever done for me……and it will be for you as well…..
