What was your life like before Get You In Shape?
I was heading in the wrong direction. I was adding pounds, always tired and did not feel strong.
Why did you decide to join the Get You In Shape program?
I have a cousin that works out at Get You In Shape, and I go to St. Ann’s so I heard a lot of really good things about Brad’s program. When he sponsored the Coppell 5K I learned more about the program and I decided to give it a try. I want to stay healthy and active SO THAT I can take care of my family and enjoy my later years.
What was your first impression of Get You In Shape?
It was fun and welcoming. The workouts were efficient and effective. The trainers were great. There’s a lot of camaraderie here. I stopped gaining weight and started losing. I felt stronger.

What have been some of the tools you have used that have benefitted you?
Initially the Advocare supplements, the shakes. Then later the F.A.T. Method
How is Get You In Shape different from other programs you have tried before?
It is a community, you are held accountable. I truly miss working out when I travel.
What results and benefits have you experienced with Get You In Shape?
I lost 10 pounds in six weeks when I first started. Then I lost 16 pounds using the F.A.T. Method in December and January.
What would you say to anyone looking at this program?
- Come join the fun & stick with it. The trainers are great and encouraging.
- The workouts are challenging, but there are always multiple levels offered and adaptations if you have injuries or issues with any exercise.
- There is always variety to keep it interesting.
- You will feel better mentally & physically.
