Coppell, TX – Fitness Boot Camp Fitness Boot Camp  Exercise of the MONTH. The forward lunge with a row is a great combination exercise for anyone looking to get more out of an exercise in less time. As you can see below, it is important to know where you body weight is. A slight lean forward is essential to making sure you feel the exercise in your hips and not your knees.

A few pointers:
1. Keep shoulder blades pulled down your back and sucking in your stomach the entire exercise.
2. Keep your back flat or in a straight line.
3. Try to align your upper body to where it is close to parallel to the ground.
4. As you perform lunge, make sure the front knee does not move forward.
5. Your back toe is only there to help balance. Try not to put any pressure on the back foot. If you can pick the leg up keeping your form, this would be a progression.

Try starting out with 2 to 3 sets at 10-20 rep each.
