Get You In Shape is a year long program that has 12 – 4 week fitness sessions which go 48 weeks out of the 52 week year. We take 4 weeks off throughout the year  for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break and one week during the summer. This year it is from June 30th-July 4th. Here is the link that explains why we take off this week along with 3 other weeks throughout the year.

What are your options for June 30 – July 4th
1. Workout with us. We will offer both the GYIS fitness sessions and Cardio Club Monday-Thursday of that week.

GYIS Fitness sessions Monday and Wednesday- If you are in town and want to workout, the fitness sessions are  $15 each and we are offering the 5:30am, 6:30am, and a 6:00 pm  to anyone that want to come join us Monday and Wednesday of that week.
We will need 8 committed at each time to offer it & we will have sign up sheets for each time we are offering to be able to offer that time. If we have 8 committed for the 8am, we will offer that time also.

Cardio Club Sessions on Tuesday and Thursday – $10 total 🙂 Come once or come both days, it’s just $10. We will offer the 5:30am and 6:30am session. We will need 8 committed at each time to offer it & we will have sign up sheets for each time we are offering to be able to offer that time.

How much?
$15/session for the Get You In Shape fitness sessions Mon. & Wed..So if you plan on coming both Monday and Wednesday it will be $30 for the GYIS fitness sessions.

$10 for one or both of the Cardio Club sessions. (only 5:30am or 6:30am both need 8 to offer it)

If you plan on coming all 4 days (Mon-Thursday), it’s $40. Just let us know if you have any questions.

Payment – You can bring cash or check anytime or you can also pay on OUR MERCHANT PAGE HERE. Just type in the amount that you are paying for.

Join Get You In Shape in the Coppell July 4th Parade – We invite GYIS clients and families to join us as we walk the Coppell Parade together. We will meet in the St. Ann Parking lot at 8:30am and it’s starts at 9am. Wear your GYIS blue T-shirt and get a great walk on with our GYIS community. 2. Workout on your own with the tools we have made for you. For those of you who are not going to be working out with us, we still want you to workout on your own or someone. Here are a few workout tools you can just print and follow on your own
Workout on your own using one of our many workout options we give you on our traveling workout blog here. It’s packed with plenty of information but we have also added 2 tools on this blog below for you to use. So you have plenty of “stuff” to help you keep going although we are “off”.

Below are some helpful tips to stay on your “A Game” as we are off a week. We have also took the guesswork out and put together a week’s work of workout for you with 3 boot camp style workouts and 2 cardio workouts.

Tips for making this a positive week for you:

  1. Eat a healthy breakfast EVERYDAY – this would include a well-balance breakfast (protein, carbs, and fats)
  2. Drink a lot of water – try drinking when you get up, before and after meal, and throughout the day.
  3. Eat 5-6 times – Breakfast, mid-morning snack, healthy lunch, mid-afternoon snack, and a healthy dinner (optional evening snack)
  4. Fiber and Protein – Eat plenty of fiber and protein because they will help with cravings and metabolism.
  5. Exercise – Even though I/we are not working you out this week, do not let that stop YOU from pushing through the week off.
  6. Workout with OTHERS – Get a friend or a few friends to help encourage, inspire, and motivate you this week. Your spirits will be up and your heart will too.

  7. POST HOW THE WORKOUT IS ON THE BLOG (We will have a Blog post that you can comment) or on our Fan page of Face Book (Get You In Shape)! It will help keep you motivated when you don’t want to work out.
