THE  TWELVE  DAYS  OF BOOT CAMP !

This time of year is always full of challenges, what with parties, shopping, cooking, family, travel so we know you will be up for just one more Challenge to get you through this festive season!

Presenting:  THE  TWELVE  DAYS  OF BOOT CAMP !

This is a fun way to keep you motivated, accountable and to get you through the Holiday Season.

  • Beginning Friday November 22nd we have 12 Boot Camp Days or Opportunities to record some fun fitness related tasks.
  • Tasks can be completed any time between the last Boot Camp/Christmas Day and the upcoming Boot Camp/Christmas Day.  (For example:  Day 3 falls on Wednesday December 4th and the task is “3 Journal Entries”.  These will be 3 meals logged in your journal, any time between Monday December 2nd and Wednesday December 4th).
  • No exercises in a Boot Camp work out session will count!
  • A suggestion is to come 15 minutes early to class or stay 15 minutes longer to do some of the exercises.
  • You may do all the tasks the day before if you so desire!
  • For each successfully completed task, you will be given an Ornament to put on the Trailer-Tree.
  • On this ornament you must write your name and the number of the task you have completed (for instance: Jim Skinny and #3 if I have journaled my meals).
  • Depending on the day, you will be putting on a corresponding number of ornaments. For example on the 6th day of Christmas, you can put an ornament for doing Day 6, Day 5, Day 4, Day 3, Day 2 and Day 1, if you completed all 6 tasks in the allotted time.
  • Attach your ornaments on the tree firmly.
  • Each Ornament will represent 50 cents (via GYIS)
  • There will also be a drawing once we take all the ornaments off, to go in a raffle. So please be sure your name is written clearly on each ornament
  • At the end of the 12 Days, we will count each ornament and the total will go to a “To Be Determined” local Coppell charity for the Holidays.
  • The more tasks you do, the more ornaments on the tree, (the more chances you have in the raffle)  the more joy you will be spreading in the long run (no pun intended J)!
  • Once a “Day” has passed, you cannot add any ornaments for that day – Just focus on the next one.
  • You may attempt as much or as little as you want!
  • You may sing the song as you do the tasks (we have no objection!)

Here is our jingle with all your fun tasks for the next few weeks:
