Q: What was your life like before joining the Get You In Shape Program?
I was building up my walking distances but not much else in terms of exercise.
Q: Why did you decide to join the Get You In Shape program?
JoAnn Talkington and I were walking a couple of times per week. She recommended the program because she enjoyed it so much and it had been so helpful to her.
Q: What was your first impression from the Get You In Shape program?
Brad’s daily guidance pointed the path to follow while providing options to accomplish my goals. The fitness trainers were very helpful and encouraging. The other participants were great too; welcoming and supportive. The overall program covers so much more than exercise, which is wonderful.
Q: What have been some of the tools you have used that have benefited you?
While not a ‘tool’ at all – my favorite thing has been the trainers’ instruction on how to modify the exercises so I could protect my joints (I have RA).

Q: How is the Get You In Shape program different from other programs you have tried before?
This program encompasses nutrition and exercising with a goal centered plan it also surrounds me with a great community that is supportive and lifts each other up.
Q: What results and benefits have you experienced in the Get You In Shape Program?
More energy, stamina and slept better. I feel stronger, more positive and much healthier. I’ve even completed two 5ks!
Q: What would you say to anyone looking at this program?
Seriously, it is the best approach to good health that I have ever tried. The trainers are knowledgeable and encouraging, the community is supportive and the plan provides step-by-step instructions to guide you.
