Hi, I am Megan. I am a teach in Coppell, TX and I have been participating in the Boot Camp for 18 months. Before I started boot camp I really did nothing for myself and never really made myself a priority. It was not a healthy place for me. I joined the boot camp for a month because I was not sure if I could actually do the boot camp. The boot camp has totally changed who I am. Now I am working out being at boot camp and running on my own ont he off-days which I never thought I would do. This is now a priority for me and I am now saying no to things which I would normally say “yes” to in the past just to please others.
I am training to run a half marothon which is something I would never would have dreamed would be possible. I have lost 3 clothing sizes since starting.
I would encourage anyone to give the boot camp a try. You can start at any level and the trainers help modify the workouts to whatever the fitness levels are. It really gives yourself a feeling of accomplishment knowing that you can do somehting, you can participate, and you can change your life.
I have been able to get a few other Coppell teachers and friends to join the boot camp with me. We have become a little family. We help hold each other accountable and also get some great socail time in while we stay in shape.
