COPPELL FITNESS BOOT CAMP CELEBRATES 2 YEARS OF HELPING PEOPLE LOSE WEIGHT AND GET IN
COPPELL, TEXAS October 25, 2008– This month marks the two year anniversary for the GetYouInShape.com team based
in Coppell. Since starting their first Fitness Boot Camp 2 years ago with 5 clients they have helped more than 2,000 participants that in total have lost over 6,800 inches and 2800 pounds! The celebration was hosted by founder Brad
Linder and his wife Cynthia on October 24th when they held an appreciation Open House at their home in Coppell inviting clients, friends and family to partake in an evening of fun and fellowship.
Linder partnered with the City of Coppell Parks and Recreation in October 2007 with the goal of bringing a program to the community that helps people get into a friendly environment that helps with encouragement, accountability, and motivation. In September of 2008, Get You In Shape opened up its corporate wellness program for the city of Coppell’s employees.
The four – week program is a total package giving participants all the tools they need to get in shape. It consists of 14 total sessions that encompasses all fitness levels from beginners to recreational athletes. It combines resistance
training, core strengthening, cardiovascular fitness, improved balance and agility, and increased speed and flexibly into a single high-energy workout. Lead by Linder, a former professional basketball player and certified personal
trainer now living in Coppell, Get You In Shape Boot Camp participants benefit from a comprehensive approach to wellness and exercise in a group environment that created a sense of camaraderie and accountability that appears to work.
“Get You In Shape was the answer I have been looking for. Following the complete program that was given to me, I have been able to lose 15 pounds and my health has been the biggest benefit. The workouts are never the same and after 18
months in the program, I still love it! This program is great for anyone in Coppell.” Chaney Respondek, Coppell ISD teacher and resident.
“I wanted to bring a community fitness program to Coppell that would make the process of getting health and getting in shape easier and even a fun process. With the comprehensive approach, all the tools each person gets, the groups
camaraderie, and professional trainers helping you throughout the process. People need simple directions, a plan to follow, and a dynamic way to exercise to make it fun. We have put together a program that people enjoy and that has
produced some amazing success stories,” creator Brad Linder.
A New Get You in Shape Coppell Boot Camp begins each month with an Orientation and
Seminar the Sunday before each camp starts inside the Coppell Aquatics and Recreation Center. Each session is held outdoors at Andy Brown East or inside the Coppell Aquatics and Recreation Center. There are five to six different
times to choose from making flexibility of schedules another huge benefit of the class.
