Coppell, Texas — [April 3rd, 2017] — Get You In Shape Fitness, a local Coppell fitness company, hosted a free charity workout on April 1, 2017, to benefit Taylor’s Gift, an organ donation foundation raising $1,241.25. After the tragic loss of their thirteen-year-old daughter, Taylor, the Storch family founded Taylor’s Gift, a Coppell-based charity, to increase awareness of the need for organ donation.
Coppell business owner, Brad Linder, founder and CEO of Get You In Shape Fitness says, “We hosted a free community workout to honor Taylor’s Outlive Yourself spirit, as well as raise funds to help families cover the costs of organ transplant expenses. We donated on behalf of everyone that showed up and we received a few donations that helped us give a check for $1,241.25 to the Taylor’s Gift Foundation”
In the nine years Get You In Shape has been in business, they have raised over $90,000 for various charities hosting free workout events. “It’s just the beginning,” says Linder. “It’s our mission to give back to the community and support our local charities. In addition to charitable events, we also make donations to Taylor’s Gift every time one of our clients checks in on Facebook when arriving for their workout.”
