Coppell and Dallas Boot Camp Cardio Tips of the week

We want to prepare everyone for the 5k run we are hosting on May 8th so the next 3 weeks will be leading up to that. I would also encourage you to either show up 10-15 minutes early to a session or stay 10-15 minutes after and get a mile or two in. You will not only get great cardio benefits (as well as inches/weight loss) but you will also prepare your self for the 5k run. Don’t over do it by trying to run a long time as that is what the off-days below are for.

Tuesday (or Wednsday if you are at the McKinney Ave. location). 90 seconds of jogging (or running) 90 seconds at your slow pace.
Do this for at least 10 sets or 30 minutes

Thursday (or Friday for McKinney Avenue)
30 minutes at on pace. Try keeping the same pace for the entire 30 minutes. Maybe inbetween slow to medium. If you need to walk fast for some of it, try to go one minute fast walk and one minute of slow jog. Each of you will have your own speed but focus on staying at the same speed or  one speed for 30 minutes.
